Super quiet campground. Friendly staff, full service on each stall. Firewood on site. Walking to Cecil Thompson park for fishing and an awesome playground.
Short car ride to peace river. The place is very clean and has a beautiful park beside it with tables,fishing, docks,outside exercise equipment and walking trail around the pond, a play ground and a jump pillow (like a large trampoline) it is great fun for all but kids must be with parents for safety if they want to jump It is also unsafe if you have health concerns. big laundramat on site, a small store has uhaul dealer. Clean bathrooms and showers (girls restroom only has one shower until they can fix the other one they are just waiting on parts) good and spacious with camp fires and they have wood ready to go and will bring it to you.Very friendly and helpful staff. They have garbage and recycle large cans and all recycling goes to chairty. A great price definitely a great place to stay would highly recommend it.
The Park is well laid out and absolutely clean. It is spacious and level, making easy to park.The issue was registration. I did not appreciate the clerk insisting on my drivers license and credit card information. This was not required, and I was offended that I was even asked to provide this information.Privacy is simply overlooked and the information is easily available to unscrupulous employees or person. In the future, I will not provide any information other than that which is required to stay one day in the RV Park, that is payment and auto identification.
Great facilities and staff! Downtown is a fair distance down a steep hill so biking there and back takes real commitment. Sites are well spaced and the park is super clean. Would definitely stay here again.
